Airsal 72cc Aluminium Cylinder Kit "Sport" Derbi Euro 3 (D50B0).

This Sports version of the Airsal cylinder is made of Nikasil-coated aluminium for improved cooling. The exhaust port is divided for improved flow, the 48mm piston is a 1-ring piston.

To get the most out of it, we recommend setting it up with a bigger carburetor (at least) like this 19mm carburettor and a sports exhaust (such as this one by Stage6).

Bore: 48mm / 72.4cc = not street-legal.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped

The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.

The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Aluminium cylinders

Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?

Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.

Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.

Bon kit all day

Plutôt bon kit malgré que j’ai serré 2 pistons à cause de saletés qui sont passés dans l’admission. Il est plutôt coupleux par rapport à de l’origine mais ne vous attendez pas à des performances de fou… Il lève plutôt bien en se mettant en 1 ère. Je le recommande pour quelqu’un qui veut rouler tout les jours sans trop consommer.

Kit puissant et coupleux, a ne pas oublier qu’il est en alu mais sacrément résistant pour de l’alu, foncez si vous avez pas les moyens pour en prendre un plus haut de gamme

Avec ma configuration ça arache clairement : Squish 0,7, jeu coupe segment 0.17, cale clapet 5mm + carburateur 24 Type PWK GP 120, pot SCR corse 50/70 Handmade, allumage MVT premium, pipe MVT, clapet VL18 mhr malossi, anti patate NGK, robinet d’essence malossi (pour un gros debit) je vous conseille ce kit à fond si vous avez un budget serrer!!

Le kit pour son pri est exelent facile à monter même à son 1er démarrage il a démarré du 1er coup de kike avec le carbu d'origine que ce vais changer bientot pour un 19 delorto
Il y a juste une petit piecce qui ser à faire sortir le liquide de refroidissement pour l'ammener au carbu qui est extrémement fragile il a casser juste en retirent cette durite

Ce kit monté sur vilebrequin bidalot replica, allumage mvt premium, embrayage bidalot, boite a clapet malossi VL17, pipe 80cr, carbu de 28oko pot brk 80/90 et essayer aussi avec un allumage PVL, le vrai, et bien franchement sa marche fort, bas moteur graté pour bien aligner le cylindre aux transfers ! Un ami avec une xsara me suivais a 130km/h soit 125km/h si l'on enlève la marge ! Jai ce cylindre depuis le moi mai, je change le piston tous les 4mois mais ne fait jamais de rodage, juste bien laisser chauffer sa machine avant de taper dedans !

Bon petit kit pas trop cher qui marche bien pour l'avoir acheté sur mon derbi avec un carbu 21 et un pot yasuni r2.

Les gars! Ce kit est énorme!!!!!
Avec vilo barikit piste, yasumi r2, boîte a clapet carbone mvt, carbu 17.5, pignon de 15 etc et je tape le 145kmh, il a une super patate! Super pointe, il a déjà 2500km et il arrache vraiment!!!! ;)
Je conseil a tout le monde! Il est super! (Surtout pour le prix!) je suis sur il casse le cul de beaucoup de kit 70!!!!!
