Description

Wave Design Brake Disc 190mm

190mm Wave design brake disc from Motoforce. Wave design discs will add a more aggressive touch to your wheels and optimize the cooling of the brake disc. The braking performance is comparable to the OEM disc.

When it comes to scooters, 190mm brake discs are pretty common, but there are differences in mounting them. Since the Motoforce brake disc has 3 different options for mounting, it fits almost all variants on the market.

  • Outside diameter: 190mm
  • Inside diameter: 58mm
  • Mounting: 3-hole
  • Suitable for screws with 8mm (flat head and countersunk head)
  • Suitable for screws with 10mm flat head (Aerox / Nitro)

This means the disc fits many common scooter models like Yamaha Aerox, BW`s, Slider, Jog, Neo`s / MBK Nitro, Booster, Stunt, Mach G, Ovetto / Aprilia SR50 / SR125, Rally, Gulliver / Benelli 491, K2, Naked, Velvet 125 / Beta Ark, Eikon / Malaguti F12, F15, Crosser / Peugeot Buxy, Speedake, Squab, Trekker, TKR / Piaggio Typhoon, TPH, NRG and many other scooters (also Chinese scooters) with the matching dimensions.

ATTENTION: Please check the dimensions on the vehicle before buying!

Tip: You should not drive too fast for the first 50 km after mounting the brake disc to run in the disc properly so brake performance will be better in the long run.

Notes and Safety

Motorcycle and scooter brake disk

The brake disc on the front wheel and / or rear wheel play an essential role in the braking system of motorcycles and scooters.

Brake rotors are firmly attached to the wheel or wheel hub with brake bolts. They work in conjunction with the brake pads, which are pressed onto the brake discs via the brake caliper. This pressure creates the friction that is important for braking, which allows the vehicle to slow down and come to a stop.

When to change the brake rotor?

Brake pads wear out faster than brake discs and need to be replaced regularly. Brake discs, on the other hand, can last between 20,000 and 40,000 kilometers, depending on driving conditions. It is recommended that you monitor brake pad wear and inspect brake rotors for signs of excessive wear or deformation. If you see any sign of damage, the brake disc should be replaced.

No matter if standard, wave or floating - when you install a new brake disc on your scooter or motorcycle, you should also replace the brake pads at the same time. You should securely fasten front or rear brake disc with threadlocker.
