Moving of Workshop MXS Custom
It has been a few weeks now since we completed the removal of our premises into a brand new building which has been renovated for this purpose especially. From now on, these new premises accommodate our entirely newly fitted workshop.
Just a few years ago, the Maxiscoot workshop was nothing but a small shack, just about 25m² in size, into which we stuffed our P4 test bench and the bare minimum of equipment requisite for carrying out test trials with the products which we distribute...
Before long, the stock began to require more and more space, so we had to make a move. The workshop in turn grew in size and became what it is now. At the same time, we started to equip ourselves with new tools such as a circuit and a milling machine. We needed those because we wanted to bring about even more sophisticated projects, such as the development of our infamous Bicylinder 2EVIL.
Since we fancied more "modern" offices, we invested in premises of 250m² in size, newly fitted for the occasion, and that’s where we are now.
This time around, the test bench was afforded its own place with acoustic insulation, and fitted with a special ventilation system (and the respective air pressure regulator). In an adjacent room, you can find the remainder of our tools, such as the milling machine, 4 welding machines for any possible material, the sandblaster, and a "marble" desk for the manufacture of our frames, etc...
The main floor of the workshop comprises various hydraulic ramps, tools, as well as a small stock of spare parts (for MXS Custom), and of course a communal area where you can relax and admire the development of the latest MXS projects.
A mini-workshop is attached to this main piece, which is reserved for Maxiscoot staff and their own scooters.
Likewise, next to this mini-workshop, you can find another room where we keep any products that are to undergo test trials as well as various engines from clients which are in the course of preparation for MXS Custom gear.
At last, in the last room, we set up our "exclusive MXS" Research & Development department which contains a separate floor for purposes of metrology.
Thanks to this new environment, Maxiscoot is proud to be able to provide you with top-notch quality service for your beloved engines.
Long live scooter-tuning!
Your MXS Custom team.
