DSSC Aldenhoven
Last weekend, as always, we set off for Aldenhoven (Germany) where the 4th DSSC race was taking place! Despite the relatively cool weather, we decided to take all of our machines, Dragster 2 Evil and Booster MXS Racing as well as our latest prototype, the MXS Racing 90 cc geared moped!!
In addition to all of our equipment, we managed to pack one more thing into our cases: Alexis Furaud, A.K.A. "Gizmo", who has become our rider for the geared moped prototype! When we arrived, the weather was still a bit disappointing for this time of the year, 15°C and very cloudy, but thankfully we weren't there for a holiday anyway!
After a little bit of a wait (due to various technical problems), the official races were able to take place and honestly, we really enjoyed it!! Our bi-cylinder Dragster won first place in its category, as did our geared moped with its 90cc MXS Racing cylinder! Unfortunately the Booster didn't place at the DSSC but nevertheless got an excellent time despite not making it to the leader board!
The atmosphere at the event was really great and we even met some fans of MXS Custom Wear from Germany which was really nice!! Given that it was only a one-day event, everything ended relatively early, but we did have the pleasure of collecting two first place trophies!
