Meeting Dubois 2011

Despite the grey, windy weather – well, it’s in the North (only a cliché, of course!) – a lot of people came to Run, including a large number of Teams such as Team Batard, the NK Team, Big Bore 59… etc., not forgetting a veteran: Monsieur Jimmy, alias SP62. The Runs went very well throughout the day, with free Runs in the morning and the officials in the afternoon.

As there was no stopwatch, the starts were conducted in the old-fashioned way (by hand) with sudden-death type Runs for the officials. The Tuning competition took place during the lunch break, and a lot of participants came to show off their machine. At the end of the day came the award ceremony and participants were delighted with their prizes, all of which were highly impressive.

Finally, the day was spent in a very good atmosphere despite the rather dull weather. We’d like to thank the Dubois team for their welcome and for the smooth organization of the day. And, of course, we’ll see you again next year.

PS: We do however regret the lack of a traditional chip stall: a good “Fricadelle” (meatball) and Chips would have warmed the heart.
