The Malossi MHR Cylinder Sport 68.5mm aluminium Vespa Cosa 200cc is a high-end cylinder designed for the road. Malossi MHR engineering are always trying to redesign and improve cylinder layout. High-quality aluminium now replaces the original cast iron, port timings were remapped for increased road and mid-race performance. Power / torque is definitely better than with the stock engine.
The piston is a high-end Asso piston, with 1 thin ring with anti-friction chrome coating.
A cylinder head is not included, we recommend a sports / tuning cylinder head (by Malossi).
The cylinder was designed for crankshafts with original stroke.
The cylinder is suitable for original or slightly modified setups, but we recommend a larger carburetor and an adequate exhaust.
