Racing clutch scooter

Clutch Racing "Evolution" d=112mm China 2-stroke scooter, three-jaw clutch with possibility of adjusting the spring preload. The clutch comes with two sets of different clutch springs.

The spring preload is adjusted on this clutch via an Allen screw on the back, so without having to dismantle the clutch from the converter. You de facto only need a hex wrench.

The matching 112mm clutch bell is of course also available in our store. And the blocking tools needed for installation and removal.

Scooter clutch

The clutch is essential for the smooth operation of the scooter's automatic CVT. It ensures that the engine power is transmitted to the rear wheel in a continuous and controlled manner.

How Does a scooter clutch work?

The clutch and clutch bell of the centrifugal clutch on scooters form a single unit. The clutch bell is attached to the input shaft of the engine. When the engine reaches a certain speed, the clutch shoes with linings are pulled outward by centrifugal force. Clutch and bell come into contact, they engage so power can be transmitted from the engine to the rear wheel.

How to adjust a Scooter clutch?

Scooters are centrifugal clutches, with increasing RPMs the centrifugal force leads to clutch engagement. The clutch springs play an important role in this process as they affect the engine speed at which the clutch engages, i.e. makes contact with the bell.

The clutch engages at a lower engine speed with soft springs, while hard springs delay clutch engagement. It is important to find the optimum compromise in terms of setup and intended use.

More precise settings can be done with an adjustable clutch, where the tension of the clutch springs can be adjusted.

C'est le quasi clone d'un autre embrayage trés connu , attention si vous réussissez à le régler sans la cloche vous n'y arriverez pas avec ,c'est à souligner , les ressorts fournis sont des bleus super durs et des rouges archi durs , donc si vous montez ça sur un 50 faites bien attention il vous faudra trouver sans doute des ressorts plus mous , tel quel il est vendu pour des configurations assez musclées je pense , sur origine ou léger kit 50 faites gaffe à ne pas vous prendre comme un sérieux coup de pied au deriére au démarrage , partir en roue sans l'avoir décider ou quoi ...J'aurais mis 5 étoiles rien que pour l'excellent suivi que Maxiscoot a eu par mail avec moi , mais le fait qu'il soit réglable que sans la cloche ,méme si c'est logique quelque part ,et le fait qu'il soit réglé de base pour des configs musclées m'en font enlever 2 ...
Il a l'air super solide sinon , trés bonne réplique de l'autre , avec couleur de dureté des ressorts fournis inversés ...
