Maxiscoot and MXS Racing proudly present the result of many years of development: the MXS 90cc Tuning Kit - Cylinder + Crankshaft - GP2 (45mm stroke) MBK Nitro / Aerox! And, as a matter of course, to be had for a very good price!

The GP2 90cc tuning kit includes:

  • MXS GP90 Cylinder Kit version 2 MBK Nitro / Aerox
  • MXS GP90 Crankshaft MBK Nitro / Aerox (45mm stroke/ 90mm conrod / 12mm piston pin)


The MXS 90cc Cylinder Kit GP2 (45mm stroke) has an original patented design and includes a 90cc cylinder (d=50mm / stroke=45mm / connecting rod = 90mm => 88cc). These cylinder kits were developed for racing engines and are, accordingly, extremely powerful!
 

Among the new developments for version GP2 - differently shaped exhaust ports and a newly designed combustion chamber for the cylinder head to boost the performance of the MXS cylinder kit even more. In combination with the right components, but without any additional modification, this kit can reach between 26 and 28hp. The special transfer port design will give you phenomenal torque of 18N·m - even in the low rpm range!
 

The MXS GP2 90cc cylinder is very powerful at take-off, has impressive acceleration and top speed. Thanks to well-thought-out design and the use of top quality materials this kit is also top-of-the line regarding reliability and durability (manufactured in Europe).
 

The kit has to be combined with an MXS GP90 exhaust , a 30mm carburetor (38mm would be ideal), a high-end racing clutch, an oversize variator, a "long" transmission and a digital inner rotor ignition (Stage6 R/T).
 

Note:

  • You'll have to mill in the front of your crankcase a little to make room for the connecting rod and the cylinder base (manual included)
  • It is possible to get even more power out of this kit by using a racing combustion chamber for the cylinder head that is sold separately (can only be run with high-octane fuel); the kit can now easily reach 28 / 29hp.

Improved Transfer Port Design  Gas flow volume and speed depend on size and shape of the transfer ports which is usually limited by the stud bolts holding the cylinder in place. With the MXS GP90 90, this limitation was overcome by using a (patented) screw fastening instead of bolts; the transfer ports can now be shaped in the best possible way.   Special Combustion Chamber  The MXS GP90 90 cylinder kit includes a standard cylinder head combustion chamber offering a good compromise between acceleration and top speed. In order to increase power, the MXS Racing team developed a special racing combustion chamber for the cylinder head. To avoid rotation when tightening / loosening the spark plug, the cover was equipped with a pin to block it properly during installation. 3-Part Exhaust Port  The MXS GP90 90 has an exhaust port that is divided into 3 ducts, 2 of them usually called boost ports. This increases the port surface and gas emission significantly when compared to "normal" exhaust ports. The 2 bridges forming the boost ports reduce pressure on the piston ring and consequently ensure maximum reliability.   Aluminium Cylinder Head CoverOriginal CNC-Milled Design  Perfect finishing of even the smallest details thanks to a cylinder head cover cut from one piece and painted a beautiful anodized green. CNC-milling guarantees optimum results. Elaborate Cooling System  An aluminium liner redirecting the flow of the liquid coolant leads to an optimum dissipation of the heat generated by the cylinder. Special attention was paid to the exhaust duct by designing a "water chamber" encircling it. The temperature of the exhaust gases is lowered, and performance consequently improved.   New Patented Fastening System  The fastening of the cylinder has been patented and allows for a change in the transfer ports' shape and size never accomplished before.     Straight out of our very own MXS Racing engineering department - MXS Racing Crankshaft "GP" MBK Nitro / Aerox with 45mm stroke, available here at Maxiscoot for an excellent price! This engineering masterpiece was specifically developed for our MXS GP cylinders and is clearly a high-end "Hyper Racing" part. The use of top quality materials, notably HQ Tungsten counterweights, and excellent balancing are among its stand-out features. And we did not stop here - the 90mm connecting rod (10mm longer than original) is forged out of HQ steel, CNC machine-finished and then TiN-coated. It comes with a reinforced silver-plated small end bearing (12x17x16mm). As a final touch, the "MXS Racing" logo and the serial number of the crankshaft are lasered onto one of the crankwebs. As it has a 46mm stroke, you'll have to mill in the crankcase of your Minarelli horizonta to make room for the connecting rod (77mm); instructions can be found in manual. Variator-side spline diameter is standard 13mm and compatible with most variators on the market.
