Andrea Pinasco was one of the first mechanics who successfully tried to improve the performance of classic Vespa scooters, and his company Pinasco consequently became one of the household names for Vespa tuning. Carburetors, cylinders, exhausts, crankshafts - everything to make your vintage Vespa run better and faster.
The Pinasco Crankshaft 60mm stroke Vespa PX125 / PX150, reinforced long stroke crankshaft. Long stroke crankshafts increase displacement which leads to more power.
This crankshaft is a high-end tuning part made in Italy - CNC-machined, top quality forged steel connecting rod with anti-friction silver small end bearing, additional holes (conrod eye) and grooves (rod) for optimum lubrication, polished crankwebs to reduce windage and thus parasitic loss. It is reinforced and strong enough to be used for racing.

How to change a crankshaft?
The crankshaft is one of the main components of the engine and is responsible for the smooth operation of motorcycle, scooter and moped, whether with two-stroke or four-stroke engine. The longevity of the engine depends not only on the proper condition of the crankshaft, but also on the fact that it is properly mounted.

How can I tell if my crankshaft is Damaged?
A broken crankshaft causes metallic noises, unusual vibrations, leaking oil seals and drastically reduces the performance of the two-wheeler. In any case, the vehicle must be stopped immediately to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Please note that whenever the crankshaft is changed and serviced, you'll have to install new crankshaft bearings.
