The Pinasco Transmission Four Drive Vespa PX 125 - 150 is a 4-speed gearbox with extended 4th gear. 4 speeds translate into better acceleration and improved overall performance.
1st gear: 12 teeth
2nd gear: 16 teeth
3rd gear: 20 teeth
4th gear: 21 teeth + 35 teeth
Gear ratio is modified, with the 4th gear extended.
Scooter gearbox
The transmission of scooters and some mopeds is located in a case behind the clutch and torque driver and has the function of reducing rpm and ultimately driving the wheel axle.
The transmission of a scooter has a direct influence on top speed. If the engine develops enough power and torque at low rpm, you can choose a longer gear ratio to achieve a higher top speed without any noticeable loss in acceleration.
