Stage6 Carburetor Slide PWK 28mm. The slide controls the air flow in the carburetor throat. This is a flat slide. We carry all spare parts for Stage6 tuning parts. So if you lose or damage one of the small parts - no problem, we got you!
Throttle slide
The slide is an important part of the carburetor because it controls the amount of air (or mixture) that enters the engine.
When the throttle grip is turned, you pull the throttle cable, which in turn pulls on the throttle slide to raise it and open the passage.
The shape and thickness of the slide has no real effect on engine performance. However, a carburetor with a throttle slide will result in a livelier engine character at low rpm.
So when adjusting the carburetor, you should focus more on the jets and needles.
