A water pump without an impeller is pretty much useless, the impeller has to be replaced immediately. Available as a spare part, so you don't have to replace the entire pump.

The water pump is a crucial component of a liquid-cooled engine. It ensures that the coolant circulates between the engine and radiator to prevent engine damage from overheating.
