Description

Stage6 Tuning Kit cylinder + crankshaft Big Racing 88cc stroke 45mm Minarelli AM6. The tuning packs we have carefully assembled for you guarantee maximum performance without you having to worry about the right combination of the individual components.

The tuning kit consists of the following parts:

  • 88cc cylinder d.50mm / stroke 45mm, aluminium, with 5 transfer ports and bridged exhaust
  • 1-ring piston d.50mm Vertex 
  • aluminum cylinder head, one-piece, high compression
  • gasket set (base and head gaskets)
  • HPC crankshaft Stage6 w. 45mm stroke, 90mm connecting rod and 12x17x15mm small end bearing
  • SKF C3 bearing polymer cage Stage6 + oil seals
  • cylinder base spacer 5mm


The BigRacing cylinder from Stage6 is intended for everyday use, but can also be used for tuning projects. The port timings are relatively low, the exhaust is generously sized, which makes for easy tuning and smooth performance over the entire rpm range; it also provides a good basis for performance-enhancing tuning measures.

The crankshaft is a Stage6 HPC crankshaft, with 45 mm stroke. Thanks to the high-quality materials and extremely precise balancing, the crankshaft can withstand very high loads of up to 16,000 rpm.

The connecting rod measures 90mm, this means it is 5mm longer than the original AM6 (85mm) to increase engine power and torque.

In combination with the appropriate components (28mm carburetor, high-end / racing exhaust, reinforced clutch, ...) this kit can reach 27 hp and more.

Stage6 BigRacing cylinder

The Big Racing cylinders are extremely powerful cylinders for 50cc supermotos. Although they are very powerful high-end cylinders, they offer a good balance of performance and reliability for intensive, regular, even daily use.

The aluminium cylinders have a displacement of 77 to 88 cc (with the corresponding crankshaft ) and were mainly developed for 50cc motorcycles with Derbi and AM6 engine, e.g. Rieju MRT, Beta RR or Sherco.

In combination with a suitable exhaust, a complete intake system and a suitable gearbox, the BigRacing can achieve maximum power with maximum torque and increased top speed.

The Stage6 R/T series delivers even more power, with uncompromising performance for use on the race track.

Tuning Level: High End racing

We categorize our products into different performance levels  Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.

High End Racing products are exclusively designed for racing and should only be handled by tuning pros with the appropriate technical know-how. High-end racing parts often require modifications or machining of certain elements to accommodate the often larger components (larger crank webs, larger intake, etc.). Whether you stick with 50cc or increase the displacement, high-end racing parts offer much higher performance than the original parts and are the most powerful tuning parts.

Note: To ensure the reliability of the engine, it is important that the parts are compatible and that you do regular maintenance on your two-wheeler.

    Aluminium cylinders

    Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.

    How to run in an aluminium cylinder?

    Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.

    Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.

    Super cylindre bien fini comme pour son vilbrequin s'est sur que c'est le conçurent de fameux top perf normale depuis le temp qu'il est sur le marché entrevoir top perf bonjours stage 6 j'aurais mis 5 étoiles car je trouve sa dommage d'avoir un pack moteur sans goujons.
