Description

The ultimate cylinder for vertical Minarelli engines: the Stage6 Cylinder Kit 50cc Sport MK2 10mm piston pin Minarelli vertical (Yamaha BW's / Slider), a street to midrace cylinder at an affordable price.

It is made of Nikasil-plated aluminium, has 5 transfer ports and an oval-shaped exhaust port. Stage6 decided to use a 2-ring piston to increase life expectancy so the cylinder is ideal for everyday riding.

Definitely a perfect compromise between reliability for everyday riding and outstanding performance. Needless to say, you can optimize performance by adjusting your carburetor (jetting) and variator (weight and spring adjustment).

And to round it all off for maximum power, we recommend running this cylinder with a sports or racing exhaust (such as the Yasuni R), a sports variator, a 19mm carburetor and a Malossi CDI. This should add up to 10hp / 7.5N.m torque.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped

The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.

The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Tuning Level: Sport

We categorize our products into different performance levels  Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.

The products listed under Sport yield better performance than Original parts. They may have technical differences, such as the use of higher quality materials, a larger displacement or a performance-enhancing design. They are suitable for everyday use and have a long service life.

Aluminium cylinders

Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?

Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.

Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.

Le meilleur kit 50
Bonjour je viens de monter se kit avec pot yasuni r carburateur 17,5 variateur stage 6 et embrayage malossi , boîte à clapet polini . Je suis choquée de la puissance que développe se kit , on dirais sérieusement un kit 70 dans mon cas !! Très facile à monter et très bon usinage .

Ce cylindre piston m’a fais 2 ans jamais de soucis je recommande les yeux fermer ( en 4 ans c’est le plus solide que j’ai eu)

Meilleur que le 70
Super incroyable pour un kit 50 j ai sorti 13,2chevaux beaucoup mieux que son cousin kit 70 stage 6 font. Je vous conseille de changer le piston tout les 6k (km). Avec une belle config full stage 6 (vario / embrayage et pot yasuni R et carbu 19 phbv / vilo Doppler (racing) filtre à air stage 6 etc) serrer tout au couple c est important ! Et respecter la mécanique lavage moteur etc c est très important pour la durée de vie du moteur en tout cas pour du all days je recommande !! (109km/h)

Excellent kit 50
Je vous recommande se kit une fois plutôt bien régler il marche du tonnerre énorme reprise et pointe convenable avec un très beau bruit je men servait 4 fois par semaine aucune trace. Je l'ai changer pour prendre son grand frère le 70 qui est lui aussi excellent!!

Le meilleur kit 50
Le meilleur kit 50 sur booster il n'y pas débat, 7 mois que je roule avec tout les jours et toujours aucune trace sur le piston/cylindre, avec toutes la configuration stage 6 à coter (pot, variation...) ça marche à fond, beaucoup de reprise et de pointe, impressionnant pour un 50 (ont pourrait croire que c'est un 70)
