Description

Malossi 70cc Cylinder Kit "MHR Replica" MBK Ovetto / Neo's - very powerful aluminium kit, replica version of Malossi's most powerful cylinders.

One of the strong points of aluminium kits is their excellent cooling properties. The cylinder is reliable and relatively low in maintenance and can be used as a cylinder for everyday use. It can reach 12hp.

You'll have to use a larger carburetor (at least 17.5mm) with this cylinder to ensure sufficient internal cooling and to get maximum power out of it.

Please note that you'll have to adjust "squish clearance" when installing aluminium cylinders to get maximum power and reliability.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped

The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.

The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Tuning Level: Racing

We categorize our products into different performance levels  Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.

Racing products are designed for a more extreme uses and are developed primarily for racing. Whether you stay at 50cc or increase the displacement, the corresponding Racing parts produce much higher performance than the original parts in order to achieve maximum power.

Aluminium cylinders

Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?

Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.

Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.

J'ai monté ce kit il y a 300 kilomètres maintenant. Je suis encore en rodage. Rien n'est réglé pour le moment. J'attends la fin du rodage. Mais c'est une tuerie. Un couple terrible comparé au cylindre origine. Enorme patate de 0 à 80 environ. Ensuite il continue de monter sans faiblir mais avec un peu moins de fougue. Je n'ai pas trop testé la vitesse de pointe car rodage, mais j'ai quand même testé une ou deux fois quand il était bien chaud. Au compteur je prends 110 ce qui fait environ 103-105 en réel. Niveau bruit comparé au cylindre origine, on entend clairement la différence ! Un bruit plus roque, plus puissant. Ca pète plus même au ralenti. Une oreille averti comprend de suite que ce n'est pas un scoot avec un 50cc :)

Je vais bientôt monter un pot yasuni C16 car mon stage 6 replica bride un petit peu je pense les performances de ce cylindre. par contre le stage 6 replica était super sur cylindre stock

Conclusion : malossi = valeur sure, ca envoie bien, je pense que le scoot doit etre dans les 9 ou 10 cv
