Use this ignition timing micrometer for 2-stroke engines, you can set the timing of an internal or external rotor ignition. One turn corresponds to a shift of 1 mm.

Why should you adjust the ignition timing?

By adjusting the ignition, you can control the ignition timing (the point at which the spark plug explodes depends on the height of the piston). Some tuning ignitions require a precise setting in order to function at all.
CAUTION: An incorrectly adjusted ignition can lead to loss of power and in some cases even to engine failure!
