Description
Polini is one of the big names in 50cc scooter tuning, and is also one of the leading manufacturers of tuning parts for Vespa, modern and vintage. Cylinders, intake manifolds, exhausts, air filters, carburetors, crankshafts and more - everything you need to boost the performance of your Classic Vespa.
Polini Cylinder Kit Evolution 130cc (d=57mm) Vespa 125cc Primavera ET3, HQ racing cylinder by Polini.
This extremely powerful Evolution cylinder with optimized intake, mounted directly to the carburetor. Performance is convincing in every way - powerful, efficient, reliable, stable.
This cylinder kit is compatible with all 125cc Vespa models; it can be combined wit original crankshaft (or one with identical specifications). 57mm diameter and 51mm stroke will add up to a total displacement of 130cc.
Port timings are designed for racing, with 6 Nikasil-plated transfer ports. Exhaust port and cylinder head design improve the quality and quantity of air flow leading to optimum performance. Extra cooling fins provide appropriate cooling for a powerful engine like this. The single-ring piston has a low-friction coating.
The cylinder kit comes with cylinder + cylinder head and piston. For optimum internal cooling, we recommend using it with a 24mm, 26mm or 28mm carb; a special exhaust is also recommended if you want to exploit the full potential of this fantastic cylinder (Polini P200.0291).

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped
The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.
The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.
Tuning Level: Sport
We categorize our products into different performance levels Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.
The products listed under Sport yield better performance than Original parts. They may have technical differences, such as the use of higher quality materials, a larger displacement or a performance-enhancing design. They are suitable for everyday use and have a long service life.
Aluminium cylinders
Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.
How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.
