Stage6 Air Filter Foam Insert Double Layer 150x150mm to make your own air filter pads.
In addition to pre-cut air filter inserts for original air filter boxes, we carry universal foam mats from Stage6. If you cannot find an air filter insert that fits your air box, you can simply get one of these and cut it to proper size. Double layer foam consists of two layers. They differ in porosity, together they provide maximum filtration performance and excellent air flow. Carburation and overall performance is improved.
Available in 2 sizes. Note: you may have to slightly adjust the carburetor main jet, depending on set-up and filtration.
Stage6 Double Layer
"Double Layer" simply means two layers. At Stage6, the sports air filters are called "Double Layer", which refers to the 2-component foam of the filter.
The hoses are also double-layered in order to be as durable as possible.

A dirty air filter impairs engine performance, increases fuel consumption and can even cause your motorcycle, scooter or moped not to start at all.
Therefore, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner or simply replace the filter so that the engine gets enough air again to run optimally.
How to replace the air filter foam insert
- Remove the cover of the air filter box
- Remove the filter, clean the air box thoroughly
- Clean or replace the air filter element if it is too worn out
