Stage6 Piston Sport Pro 70cc (C) 46.95mm 10mm piston pin Morini AC, spare piston for Stage6 Sport Pro MK1 70cc cylinders.
When you start noticing a loss of compression and / or power, it's time to replace your piston with a new one. This piston is the original spare part for the original cylinder, available in several sizes (A, B, C); the differences in size are tiny (0.02mm) so either get the same size as the original piston or one size up or down.
This is the size C piston. Including 10mm piston pin, piston ring and circlips.
Stage6 Sport Pro
The Sport Pro series from Stage6 consists of various CVT components. The variator, clutch, V-belt and complete kit are designed for sport and racing setups.
Stage6 has revised shapes and materials to improve the performance of the CVT compared to the original and to adapt it to the performance increase after installing a sport cylinder.
When to replace the piston?
To find out when the piston on your motorcycle, scooter or moped needs to be replaced, it's best to check your bike's manual. You can also keep an eye out for certain symptoms such as loss of compression, loss of power or oil consumption (only for a four-stroke piston).
Extending Piston life
To extend the life of the piston and reduce cylinder wear, it is recommended that you replace the piston rings on an alternating basis. This method maximizes piston life and improves engine performance.
It is important that you replace cylinder gaskets and piston circlips each time you disassemble the cylinder and piston. Failure to do so can result in oil leaks and engine damage.
