This popular Top Performances 85cc Cast Iron Cylinder Kit 44mm stroke Minarelli AM6 sold here without the crankshaft (see our Top Performances maxi kit). The cylinder is cast iron with 50mm diameter (5 ports, oval exhaust port), and can only be mounted with a 44mm crankshaft. The piston is a one-ring piston, the cylinder head is modular.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped

The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.

The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Très coupleux
Monté avec la config qui suit (carbu 28, mvt dd, scr rl 70, etc), apporte beaucoup de couple mais manque d'allonge.
C'est quand même un bon cylindre pour du all day car très résistant (à condition de l'entretenir correctement) et ne chauffant pas même en plein été grâce à sa culasse à plot bi-partie en alu.
