The Piaggio NRG series has been produced since 1994 and includes many different 50cc 2-stroke models: NRG Extreme, NRG mc2, NRG mc3 Purejet, NRG Power and several more. The latest model is the Piaggio NRG Power, available with air-cooled engine (DT), liquid-cooled engine (DD) and direct injection engine (Purejet). Just like the Piaggio TPH, the NRG is a very popular in the tuning community and is also often used for racing. The so-called Piaggio Hyper-2-Block yields powerful performance, and the sporty racer can be easily tuned with racing or even high-end components like midrace exhaust, racing cylinder or larger carburetor. The agile, lively performance and the modern aerodynamic look make the scooter extremely attractive, especially for young drivers.
