The Gilera Runner was originally launched as a scooter with a 2-stroke engine, it was produced since 1997. The Runner 50 is no longer built, Runner models with automatic transmission are currently only available with 125ccm to 200ccm displacement and Leader 4V engine. From the beginning the Runner was characterized by a visually appealing design and lots of power. Look and performance are very sporty, one of the special features is the tubular steel frame with center tunnel, which makes the bike very torsion resistant. The high-displacement models like the FXR can reach speeds of up to 140km/h, so you can almost reach the performance of regular motorcycles.
