Kymco Super 9 - General information
The Kymco Super 9 is the sporty scooter model from Kymco. A lot of attention was paid to create a racing look, Kymco achieved that with a sporty fairing with stickers and "racy" color combinations.
Kymco Super 9 - Engine
The Kymco Super 9 is powered by a liquid-cooled (until 2008, then air-cooled), horizontal, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke Kymco engine with a displacement of 49.5 cc. It has a carburettor and a CVT with V-belt.
Super 9 Kymco - Chassis
The Kymco Super 9 LC is equipped with a hydraulic fork as front suspension. This ensures a stable and comfortable ride. The rear suspension consists of a monoshock shock absorber with a spring travel of 45 mm, which effectively compensates for bumps in the road. The braking system consists of a single disc with a diameter of Ø 210mm at the front, while the rear brake has a disc brake with a diameter of 180 mm (in 2008 Kymco switched to drum brakes). The tire size for the front tire is 120/70 x 12 and the rear tire is 130/70 x 12".
