Speedfight 2 AC - General information

The Speedfight is a popular scooter model by Peugeot. Apart from the fairing, nothing was changed from Speedfight 1 to Speedfight 2, but the new design with the sharper and more pointed edges immediately catches the eye. The Peugeot Speedfight 2 AC model was produced from 2002 to 2009 and offers impressive performance for a 50 cc scooter. With a dry weight of just 90 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 7.2 liters, this scooter is ideal for commuting and city traffic.

Peugeot speedfight - engine

The engine block of the Peugeot Speedfight 2 AC consists of an air-cooled, vertical Peugeot 2-stroke single cylinder and is a really good basis for scooter tuning.

The Speedfight can be started both electrically and with a kickstarter. The Speedfight is air-cooled. The displacement is 49.1cc, and although the maximum power is not specified, the maximum permitted speed of 45 km/h can easily be reached. It has a carburetor and reed valve and an automatic transmission (CVT and V-belt).

Peugeot Speedfight 2 AC - Chassis

The Speedfight scooter is equipped with a hydraulic single-sided swingarm as front wheel suspension. The rear suspension consists of a hydraulic shock absorber. The front disc brake has a disc diameter of 180 mm, while the rear brake has a brake drum with a diameter of 110 mm. The front tire and rear tire is 120/70 x 12", which contributes to excellent grip and stability. The seat height of the scooter is 810 mm.
