Basic function

The triple clamp, also called triple tree, is an important component of the front wheel suspension. Triple clamps hold the fork tubes and connect them to the steering head. They are usually made of robust materials such as steel or aluminum and must be very strong to withstand heavy loads. They hold the fork legs in the correct position and stabilize them to ensure precise steering and safe handling.

Tuning Triple Clamps

You can change the handling of your scooter, moped and motorcycle with special triple clamps. Milled aluminium parts offers bette rigidity than cast ones and, of course, result in considerable weight savings compared to steel.
To gain stability or maneuverability, you can also play with the offset of the triple clamp to change the caster angle.

On motorcycles and motocross bikes, you can also find triple clamps with several positions for clamp attachment. This option is very useful for adapting the cockpit to the rider's height.
