Air Filter Adapter Polini CP 19mm carb Piaggio Ape 50.
Polini is one of the big names in 50cc scooter tuning, and is also one of the leading manufacturers of tuning parts for Vespa, modern and vintage. Cylinders, intake manifolds, exhausts, air filters, carburetors, crankshafts and more - everything you need to boost the performance of your Vespa.
This air filter adapter allows mounting the original air filter of Piaggio Ape models on Polini CP carburetors. The air filter connection of the CP carburetor is reduced from 46mm to the required 19mm.
For Piaggio Ape 50 / FL / FL2 / FL3 and RST Mix.

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
