Air Filter Adapter for Polini CP Carburetor APE 50
This air filter adapter allows the installation of the original Piaggio Ape air filter on Polini CP carburetors. The air filter connection of the CP carburetor is reduced from 46mm to the required 19mm. The air filter adapter is secured to the carburetor with Allen screws.
Fits Piaggio Ape 50 / FL / FL2 / FL3 as well as RST Mix.

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
