Replacement air filter for 2T Chinese scooters

Air filters should be replaced approximately every 2,000 km, as contaminated air filters have a negative effect on engine performance and increase fuel consumption. This is the air filter insert China 2-stroke / CPI / Keeway / Generic.

Note: please compare the shape of your air filter with the illustration, as some engines have a slightly different air filter box due to their design

A dirty air filter impairs engine performance, increases fuel consumption and can even cause your motorcycle, scooter or moped not to start at all.
Therefore, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner or simply replace the filter so that the engine gets enough air again to run optimally.

How to replace the air filter foam insert

  • Remove the cover of the air filter box
  • Remove the filter, clean the air box thoroughly
  • Clean or replace the air filter element if it is too worn out
