Pod Air Filter Type K&N
Conical air filter type K&N, 90 degree angled, 28/35mm diameter, chrome. Open performance air filter by STR8.
This is a K&N-type air filter (with oiled cotton); these air filters provide increased filtration performance, allowing the engine to operate more effectively. Due to its relatively compact size, it can be installed on most vehicles.
Using this tuning air filter can improve performance and especially engine response; additionally, the air filter gives your scooter a great racing look and a more pronounced racing sound!
It is recommended to order a carburetor jet kit to properly adjust the carburetor to the air filter.

Note: The connection size is measured on the carburetor. The rubber mounts of air filters are often slightly smaller, as the rubber expands during installation.
what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
