Pod air filter Malossi E12 black
Malossi E12 air filter with black plastic housing. Unobtrusive pod air filter with small dimensions (34mm x 53mm x 47mm) and protective grille. The plastic grille can be removed, the actual air filter is made of efficient filtering polyurethane. The air flow is very good, therefore also suitable for 19mm carburetors.
We recommend that you order a carburetor jet set to optimally match the carburetor to the air filter.

Note: The connection is measured on the carburetor. The rubber mounts of air filters are often somewhat smaller, as the rubber expands during installation.
what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
