pod Air Filter with Mesh 45°
The STR8 Hexa air filter with red foam and black cover has a 35mm connection and is angled at 45°. It also includes 2 adapters (32mm and 28mm) and a clamp. Suitable for many different models and carburetors.
The air filter provides optimal filtration and improved airflow, resulting in improved engine performance. The open grid cap offers protection while still allowing sufficient air to pass through.
It is recommended to order a carburetor jet kit to properly adjust the carburetor to the sport air filter.

Note: The connection size is measured on the carburetor. The rubber mounts of air filters are often slightly smaller, as the rubber expands during installation.
what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
