Description
Loctite 648 joining adhesive
LOCTITE 648 is an anaerobic low viscosity, high strength retaining compound.
It can be used to attach gears and sprockets to gear shafts and for bearings.
Why use an additional adhesive?
When mounting bearings in housings or gears on shafts, simple pressing is sometimes not sufficient to prevent the components from rotating (e.g. crankshaft bearings that would slip in the housing).
In this case, it is recommended to fix the relevant parts with adhesive during assembly.
