Brake Disc front floating 250mm Stage6 R/T Gilera Runner
Description
Stage6 Racing Front Brake Disc for Gilera Runner
Stage6 is always pushing to optimize their products for both street and racing use — and of course, that includes braking systems.
This is the floating Stage6 front brake disc with a 250 mm diameter, designed for Gilera Runner, Typhoon, Aprilia SR Motard, and many others. This high-end disc is clearly made for racing, but it’s also perfectly suited for everyday riding.
Stage6 Brake Disc made of Premium-Grade Steel
This brake disc is 100% made in Italy and has been tested under real race conditions. It’s made entirely from high-quality martensitic steel — a material with high carbon and chromium content, offering excellent hardenability and hardness for unbeatable durability.
The braking surface is heat-treated using the same process applied in superbikes, which ensures consistent and powerful braking throughout the entire race, especially on circuits.
Advantages of the Stage6 Floating Brake Disc
This model features a floating mount — which not only looks awesome, but also comes with serious performance perks. Floating discs distribute braking forces up to 30% more evenly than standard ones. That means better brake response and more even wear on your pads.
The disc is fitted with orange anodized bearing rings made from 7075 T6 aluminum — as strong as steel, but way lighter.
Improved and consistent braking even under extreme conditions
Excellent heat dissipation, minimal expansion or warping at high temps
Reduced brake pad wear
Better handling and more grip when braking into corners

Motorcycle and scooter brake disk
The brake disc on the front wheel and / or rear wheel play an essential role in the braking system of motorcycles and scooters.
Brake rotors are firmly attached to the wheel or wheel hub with brake bolts. They work in conjunction with the brake pads, which are pressed onto the brake discs via the brake caliper. This pressure creates the friction that is important for braking, which allows the vehicle to slow down and come to a stop.
When to change the brake rotor?
Brake pads wear out faster than brake discs and need to be replaced regularly. Brake discs, on the other hand, can last between 20,000 and 40,000 kilometers, depending on driving conditions. It is recommended that you monitor brake pad wear and inspect brake rotors for signs of excessive wear or deformation. If you see any sign of damage, the brake disc should be replaced.
No matter if standard, wave or floating - when you install a new brake disc on your scooter or motorcycle, you should also replace the brake pads at the same time. You should securely fasten front or rear brake disc with threadlocker.
