Description
Kettenfett Motul C3 Chain Lube Off Road Spray 400ml is a spray grease for motorcycle chains. Developed for chain lubrication under extreme loads on off-road motorcycles and quads. For standard, O-ring, X-ring, Z-ring chains.
Excellent creeping properties and high adhesion, thus no flicking off of the chain grease at high speeds. Does not stick to sand and dirt. Reduces friction and thus power loss, and increases the life of the chain. Waterproof and protects the chain from rust without attacking the seals.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean the chain with MOTUL CHAIN CLEAN.
- Shake before use.
- Apply to the inside of the chain along its entire length.
- Allow to dry for 10 minutes.
Chain care
To ensure a long service life for chain and chain drive, you need to maintain the components with the right products.
The chain must be kept clean and lubricated to reduce wear on the chain and sprockets and to ensure that the chain moves smoothly.
How do you maintain a motorcycle chain?
- Wire brush
- Chain cleaner
- Special brush for cleaning the chain
- Chain grease
- Bike stand
Proceed as follows:
- Place the motorcycle on a stand to take the weight off the rear wheel
- Brush off with a wire brush, especially on off-road bikes where the dirt covers the chain
- Spray on chain cleaner while turning the wheel
- Brush off with the special chain brush while turning the wheel
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the chain is clean
- Spray on chain grease while turning the wheel
ATTENTION: For cross and enduro bikes, you should use a special off-road chain grease!
