Original spare part from Yamaha. Yamaha also offers all spare parts for the newer 50cc scooters with Minarelli 4-stroke engines. The parts are identical to the original components and can thus be installed without any modifications.

Scooter gearbox
The transmission of scooters and some mopeds is located in a case behind the clutch and torque driver and has the function of reducing rpm and ultimately driving the wheel axle.
The transmission of a scooter has a direct influence on top speed. If the engine develops enough power and torque at low rpm, you can choose a longer gear ratio to achieve a higher top speed without any noticeable loss in acceleration.
Please note: if you don't have a press, better choose pre-assembled gears!
