STR8 Vented variator Cover BW's - Black

To replace a damaged original variator cover or simply upgrade the look, this STR8 black CVT cover with cutouts for MBK Booster is available at a very fair price.

Made of aluminum, this variator cover matches the technical specifications of the original cover, while featuring multiple laser-cut vents / cutouts.

Is a vented variator cover worth it?

The cutouts on the STR8 variator cover offer several advantages:

  • They improve transmission cooling to maintain consistent performance.
  • They allow quick visual inspection of the drive belt for wear.
  • They give the scooter a sporty racing look.

This vented variator cover is ideal for racing, longer rides, or custom styling on the scooter.

  • Replaces OEM Yamaha references 3VLE54110000 and 3VLE54111000

For optimal installation, a new kickstarter and new variator cover bolts are recommended.

Although variator covers do not belong to the classic wear parts, they can be damaged and must be replaced. You can also replace the original cover with a stylish custom model.

Tuning CVT cover

Custom covers are available in different colours and designs, which of course won't improve performance. There are transmission covers with cutouts that provide better ventilation and cooling for tuned engines.
