The high-quality aluminum construction ensures excellent heat dissipation. The cylinder liner is coated with a wear-resistant surface for extended lifespan.
- High performance: Six transfer ports and an oval exhaust ensure optimized performance and better power delivery. The port timings (176° / 116°) are designed for sporty performance out of the box.
- Improved piston: The special piston with a high silicon content retains its shape even at high temperatures and ensures maximum reliability with two piston rings.
- Optimum cooling: The cylinder head with enlarged cooling fins has been precisely optimized to improve heat dissipation. The large combustion chamber increases combustion efficiency.
DR recommends the use of an NGK BR8HS spark plug. As usual with aluminum cylinders, squish clearance should be adjusted (1.2 - 1.4). And as always, the carburetor settings should be adjusted.

Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
