MVT S-Race SP1 Exhaust for Peugeot Mopeds
Sport exhaust MVT S-Race SP1 Black Edition, powerful tuning exhaust for classic Peugeot 103 RCX and SPX AC / LC mopeds with original or entry-level tuning setup. MVT goes black: the MVT S-Race is now also available with a black silencer. It is designed for engines that perform best at low RPM and deliver their full potential between 6,500 and 9,000 rpm.
The exhaust delivers strong performance and is compatible with both round and rectangular swingarms.
Features MVT S-Race SP1 sport exhaust:
- Variable header length: Thanks to the supplied ball-joint flange, the length of the exhaust header can be adjusted by up to 25 mm. It is a flange with micrometric thread, where each turn corresponds to 1 mm adjustment.

- High-quality construction: Clear-coated half-shell exhaust made from high-quality 12/10 mm sheet metal.
- Aluminum silencer: The black aluminum silencer is mounted with 3 screws.
- Easy installation: Supplied complete with everything required for installation, including mounting hardware for round and rectangular swingarms.
Tip: Use of a slightly larger main jet (+5) is recommended.
Attention! The exhaust is restricted. With the restrictor installed, it has TPSI homologation (France only).

The exhaust has a major influence on the performance of scooters and mopeds. By replacing the original with a tuning exhaust, you can improve the gas flow and increase the engine power.

- The headpipe or header is the connection between cylinder and exhaust, and an exhaust gasket provides the necessary seal. In street-legal systems, the headpipe is equipped with a legally required restriction. Some people remove this restrictor to increase power.
- The actual exhaust body or expansion chamber is connected to the header pipe. In a classic 2-stroke expansion chamber type exhaust, gas pressure waves are used to improve engine performance.
- At the end there us the silencer or muffler that discharges the exhaust gases and, with the help of damping wool, also reduces the noise generated by the vehicle.
Replacing the exhaust
As a general rule, please check if the exhausts fits BEFORE REMOVING THE RESTRICTOR, otherwise the exhaust cannot be returned.
For 2-stroke engines, various settings and components usually need to be adjusted when the original exhaust is replaced with a tuning version. These changes include:
- Adjusting the carburetor by replacing the main jet.
- Upgrading the clutch or replacing the clutch springs.
- For scooters, it may be necessary to reduce the weight of the variator weights.
