Yasuni 4 exhaust for maxi scooters
With the Yasuni 4, Yasuni enters the world of maxi scooters. The Yasuni 4 Carbon Honda PCX / SHi 125cc 2013 -15 exhaust is a tuning exhaust for 4-stroke maxi scooters with street approval.
Yasuni 4 features
The Yasuni 4 combines a classic sporty look, a convincing performance profile, and great sound. With this high-end part, the performance of the maxi scooter can be increased by approx. 10%; torque is also improved. Another advantage: the exhaust weighs approx. 40% less than the stock system, which results in better handling and increased maneuverability.
The stainless steel header is not made from a single piece like many other 4-stroke systems. Yasuni goes all-in here too: the header is the only header currently available that is welded from multiple cones. It features a progressive diameter to optimize performance. This measure creates a vacuum in the header, reducing the usual backpressure and optimizing gas flow. The aluminum muffler is finished in elegant matte black with a carbon end cap and Yasuni logo.
Installation is quick and easy; small parts such as clamp, rubber silencers, spring, and bolts are included.
A matching catalytic converter is available separately.

The exhaust has a major influence on the performance of scooters and mopeds. By replacing the original with a tuning exhaust, you can improve the gas flow and increase the engine power.

- The headpipe or header is the connection between cylinder and exhaust, and an exhaust gasket provides the necessary seal. In street-legal systems, the headpipe is equipped with a legally required restriction. Some people remove this restrictor to increase power.
- The actual exhaust body or expansion chamber is connected to the header pipe. In a classic 2-stroke expansion chamber type exhaust, gas pressure waves are used to improve engine performance.
- At the end there us the silencer or muffler that discharges the exhaust gases and, with the help of damping wool, also reduces the noise generated by the vehicle.
Replacing the exhaust
As a general rule, please check if the exhausts fits BEFORE REMOVING THE RESTRICTOR, otherwise the exhaust cannot be returned.
For 2-stroke engines, various settings and components usually need to be adjusted when the original exhaust is replaced with a tuning version. These changes include:
- Adjusting the carburetor by replacing the main jet.
- Upgrading the clutch or replacing the clutch springs.
- For scooters, it may be necessary to reduce the weight of the variator weights.
Tuning Level: Sport
