Description
Fuel Tap universal On / OFF 6mm. Comes in very handy after having converted to a manifold without vacuum connection. Usually, you will then drill a hole into the vacuum tap. In order to still be able to work on the carb without petrol leaking off, you will need a manual fuel tap.

Fuel tap
Depending on the type of vehicle, there are different types of fuel taps:
- Vacuum fuel tap: when the engine is running, a vacuum raises a valve through which gasoline flows. This valve closes as soon as the engine stops running.
- Fuel cock with lever: Turn the lever with normally three positions (On / Off / Reserve).
- Fuel cock with knurled wheel: Loosen the knurled wheel to let the fuel through.
- Quick lock coupler: In this case, both parts must be unclipped to cut off the fuel supply.
Please note that some fuel taps are equipped with a filter. This filter must of course always be clean for the engine to work properly.
