Motul IRIX Tech 300 – High-Performance Multipurpose Grease for Motorcycle and Scooter
When maintenance leaves no room for compromise, Motul IRIX Tech 300 is a proven solution. Formulated with Technosynthese technology and lithium complex soap, it provides durable and reliable lubrication for bearings, gear drives, transmissions, ball joints, and many other components. Suitable for motorcycles and scooters in daily use as well as in demanding operating conditions.
Advantages of Motul IRIX Tech 300
- Wide temperature range: Continuous lubrication from -30 °C to +150 °C, with short-term peaks up to +200 °C. Reliable performance at both low and high temperatures.
- High dropping point: Above +260 °C. The grease retains its properties even under high heat.
- High load capacity: Tested according to the FAG FE 9 test and suitable for high loads.
- Very good water resistance: High adhesion, not easily washed out, and suitable for outdoor or humid conditions.
- Corrosion protection: With antioxidant and anti-corrosion additives for extended component service life.

Applications: Ball and roller bearings, thrust bearings, gear drives, electric motors, bushings, wheel hubs, drive shafts, and joints on motorcycles, scooters, commercial vehicles, and agricultural machinery.
Lube
There are different types of lubricants. It is important to choose the right grease depending on the application and purpose:
- Copper-containing high-temperature grease: is often used for components that are exposed to high heat
- Ceramic grease: for exhaust systems, spark plugs, etc.
- Multi-purpose grease: recommended for chassis bearings
Regular lubrication of certain bearings (e.g. steering or swing arm bearings) can extend their service life.
