Description
Handlebar End Caps Pit Bike Apollo. The end caps are put on the ends of the handlebar. If the bike tips over, no soil / dirt gets inside the handlebars, plus in the event of a fall the handlebars will not be damaged.

Handlebar end caps are primarily uased as styling parts, but can also have advantages: In the event of a crash, they protect the grips, which could tear off, as well as the throttle grip, as the plastic tends to crack.
However, the use of bar end caps has a disadvantage: you have to cut off the end of the throttle grip that is normally "closed". This makes it easier for dirt to get stuck between the grip and the handlebars, thus impairing the correct rotation of the throttle grip.
