Handlebar end look great and are also useful. The vibrations generated by the engine are damped a little. Handlebar weights reduce the unpleasant and hand-numbing vibrations.
The anti-vibration handlebar ends are red anodized and are of course sold in pairs.

Handlebar end caps are primarily uased as styling parts, but can also have advantages: In the event of a crash, they protect the grips, which could tear off, as well as the throttle grip, as the plastic tends to crack.
However, the use of bar end caps has a disadvantage: you have to cut off the end of the throttle grip that is normally "closed". This makes it easier for dirt to get stuck between the grip and the handlebars, thus impairing the correct rotation of the throttle grip.
