Big Valve intake kit Polini Minarelli vertical

Polini offers a kit that lets you upgrade your stock 2-petal reed valve to a 4-petal version. The Big-Valve kit is especially recommended for setups with larger carburetors. The 4-petal design significantly increases the intake cross-section, allowing more air-fuel mixture into the crankcase, improving cylinder filling and ultimately boosting engine performance.

The Polini Big Valve intake is suitable for 50cc scooters with vertical Minarelli (MBK Booster, Stunt / Yamaha BWs, Slider etc...) with racing or high-end setup.

Scope of delivery Polini Big Valve Kit

  • Aluminum housing for reed valve
  • Evolution reed valve with 0.35 mm carbon petals
  • Rubber intake manifold with 24mm connection
  • Mounting material

Suitable for carburetors with 24mm and 25mm connection

  • Dellorto 12-21mm type PHVA / PHBN / PHBG
  • Polini CP 17.5-21mm (25mm connection)
  • Gurtner and Weber 12-16mm
  • TK and China 2-stroke 12-16mm
  • Arreche 16-21mm

Note: The connection is measured on the carburetor. Rubber mounts are often slightly smaller, as the rubber expands during installation.

Intake Kit for scooter, motorcycle and moped

The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.

The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:

  • Intake manifold
  • Reed valve
  • Sometimes with spacer / socket

What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?

Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.

Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.

Cette boîte a clapet donne de bonne perf pour un kit 70 racing j'ai gagner 30 km/h rien qu'en la mettant
Mais seule inconvénient on consomme beaucoup .
