No matter if you want to replace the worn original seat cover or want to customize your motorcycle, scooter or moped by adding a custom cover - this is a short tutorial on how to replace a seat cover.

Tools needed to change the seat cover:

• Tool to remove the seat cover.
• Flat screwdriver to lift the clamps.
• Pliers to remove the staples.
• Stapler (wooden stapler or wall stapler) to attach the new cover.
• Cutter knife to cut off excess fabric.
• A heat gun can be used to remove wrinkles caused during storage.

Change seat cover:

To install the new cover, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the seat.
2. Make sure the new seat cover fits by placing it over the seat.
3. Using a flathead screwdriver and pliers, remove the staples from the existing cover.
4. Place the new cover on top of the seat foam.
5. Staple the front part of the cover, making sure it fits properly.
6. Pull the cover back and staple the back part in place once the cover is a perfect fit.
7. Staple the side parts one by one from the front to the back, pulling the cover taut.
8. If necessary, cut off excess material parts with a cutter knife or scissors.
9. Reassemble the seat on the vehicle.
