Malossi OverRange CVT Kit Yamaha Tmax 530 and 560
Using a Malossi MHR overrange kit for Yamaha T-Max aloows you to significantly improve acceleration.
The Malossi Overrange CVT kit for Yamaha TMax consists of an MHR Multivar 2000 Next variator (front pulley), the rear pulleys with performance-optimizing inclinations and opening angles including the Ventilvar torque drive pulley, a reinforced contra spring with anti-torsion spring seat and two sets of CVT weights.
The Malossi Overrange Pack Yamaha T-Max leads to significantly improved acceleration and pull as well as a slight increase in top speed. We recommend the kit especially for tuned engines that are equipped with at least a sports exhaust.

Malossi Overrange
The Overrange CVT series comprises a limited number of products. It is a complete Overrange CVT with all associated components.
Overrange CVTs are larger than standard CVTs and thus have a larger adjustment range. Overrange CVTs are primarily suitable for heavily tuned engines. The Malossi Overrange variator will get the full power out of your engine.
The kits usually include:
- A complete CVT front pulley
- A complete torque drive / rear pulley
- Different CVT weights
- A contra spring
- Grease / lubricant

Depending on the manufacturer, CVT kits may also include one or more contra springs or a clutch and clutch bell.
The different types of CVT kits
- CVT kit original: these kits contain OEM quality CVT components, the CVT transmission can be reset to the original condition.
- CVT kit Sport: Sport transmissions differ from OEM transmissons by a lighter variator, a modified angle and a special lining aimed at improving top speed as well as acceleration. In most cases the kits come with a reinforced belt.
- CVT kit Overrange / Oversize: Oversize kits have the same improvements as the Sport variants, but are also characterized by larger dimensions and are used with a longer oversize V-belt. This configuration improves the performance of your scooter quite a bit.
To simplify the installation of a new CVT, we strongly recommend the use of appropriate tools, especially a piston stopper, which is very practical for the removal and installation of a CVT transmission.
