Stage6 70cc StreetRace Piston for Yamaha BWs
Replacement piston with dimension “B” for the Stage6 70cc StreetRace cylinder, suitable for Minarelli upright scooters (MBK Booster, Yamaha BWs, Slider, Stunt, etc.).
As soon as you notice a loss of power or decreased compression, you should replace the piston. This original replacement piston for the Stage6 cylinder ensures proper maintenance of your engine.

Remember to also order the appropriate cylinder gasket set, as it must be replaced every time the engine is disassembled.
Manufacturers typically recommend changing pistons every 10,000 km for stock engines. For tuned engines, this mileage is correspondingly lower. For sport-class cylinder kits, we recommend replacing them after 5,000 to 7,500 km.

When to replace the piston?
To find out when the piston on your motorcycle, scooter or moped needs to be replaced, it's best to check your bike's manual. You can also keep an eye out for certain symptoms such as loss of compression, loss of power or oil consumption (only for a four-stroke piston).
Extending Piston life
To extend the life of the piston and reduce cylinder wear, it is recommended that you replace the piston rings on an alternating basis. This method maximizes piston life and improves engine performance.
It is important that you replace cylinder gaskets and piston circlips each time you disassemble the cylinder and piston. Failure to do so can result in oil leaks and engine damage.
