Description
Racing air filters by Stage6 made from HQ polyurethane foam with open cell structure for optimum filtration, available in red, blue and yellow. Air filters protect the engine by taking out impurities and provide improved air flow.
They have a 35mm connection, making them compatible with all 12 - 21mm Dell'Orto and Arreche carburetors, and come in 2 lengths: 7cm and 20cm. The longer ones provide better air flow but may be too long for your scooter model, so in this case you can pick the short version.
We recommend spraying the air filters with air filter oil to increase the filter effect and extends the life expectancy of the filter.

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
