Description
Air filters with larger connection diameters optimize air flow. Stage6 Racing Air Filter - HQ polyurethane air filter with open cell structure for optimum air flow and maximum filtration. Air filters protect the engine by taking out impurities and provide improved air flow.
These racing air filters are available for Mikuni (44mm diameter) and for Stage6 flat-slide / Keihin (48mm diameter) carburetors. They can also be used for other carbs with similar fitting diameters. They come with a straight and a 45° angle adapter.

what are the benefits of open air filters?
Pod air filters are installed in place of the original air filter box of scooters, motorcycles or even mopeds to increase the air flow and thus improve performance and cooling of the engine.
However, using an open pod filter can make the vehicle louder, leads to slightly worse fuel economy, and it is possible that water gets into the engine during heavy rain. But what the heck - open air filters just sound great!
Just as with original air filter inserts, it is important to clean the air filter regularly with air filter cleaner.
Note: When installing an open sport air filter, the carburetor must be readjusted, i.e. in most cases the jet has to be changed.
