Description
Secondary Transmission 13/42 teeth GY6 125/150cc, pre-pressed intermediate gear / layshaft. It has the same number of teeth as the original - 13/42 teeth.
Scooter gearbox
The transmission of scooters and some mopeds is located in a case behind the clutch and torque driver and has the function of reducing rpm and ultimately driving the wheel axle.
The transmission of a scooter has a direct influence on top speed. If the engine develops enough power and torque at low rpm, you can choose a longer gear ratio to achieve a higher top speed without any noticeable loss in acceleration.
Please note: if you don't have a press, better choose pre-assembled gears!
